Shipping FAQ

For domestic shipments, shipping is calculated based on the United States Postal Service’s and United Parcel Service’s flat rate, in addition to the weight of each item. DHL Courier and Airmail for international shipping costs vary based on the country the order is shipping to.

Some countries’ local DHL Express accepts shipments to PO Boxes as long as a valid phone number is provided. Most countries’ local DHL Express requires a physical address to be able to deliver. We recommend always providing a physical address when selecting Courier to avoid potential delays.

For most international shipments, we recommend choosing Courier. Although it can cost a little more, Courier shipments are always assigned a tracking number so you can track your order on its journey to you. Most countries’ DHL Express providers will also contact you in the event there are customs delays or delivery problems.

Airmail shipments are transferred from the United States Postal Service to your local postal service or delivery carrier. The level of service this method of shipping provides is very basic and does not include transit alerts or delivery progress of your package. This means that if your package gets lost in transit or stuck in customs, notifications of these events are seldom and at the total discretion of your postal service.

Courier is the recommended shipping method for orders higher in quantity and cost. Please be aware that some countries may not allow airmail shipments of large-sized items, so Courier is also recommended when ordering banners, banner stands, and meeting signs.

Most of the items imported into Canada will be subject to duties and/or provincial and harmonized taxes assessed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). Canada Post also charges a flat-rate handling fee of $9.95CAD for collection of these fees. Upon delivery or pickup of your imported items, Canada Post will collect (COD) the applied duties and taxes in addition to the $9.95CAD handling fee.

To save our members money and to expedite the delivery process, our shipper (RRDonnelly) will prepay the applicable duties and taxes at the Canadian border. This avoids potential customs delays and holds. Because your items are cleared directly at the border, a lesser handling fee of $7.25CAD is assessed. When you pay COD at the time of delivery, it is reimbursement to our shipper for all pre-paid duties and taxes, in addition to Canada Post’s handling fee of $7.25CAD.

When goods are transported across international borders, they are subject to duties and taxes, which are put in place by a country to protect their economy, control the transportation of goods across their borders, and to raise revenue. For more information, click here.

*Product Orders placed with us are always shipped DDU, Duties and Taxes Unpaid. This means that you, the receiver, are solely responsible for all duties and taxes charged to you upon delivery of your ordered items.

We want to provide our members with the freedom to select the shipping method that best fits their needs. Airmail shipments can take up to and over 30 business days to be received, but this all depends on the country we are shipping to. Airmail shipments to Canada can take as little as a week to arrive while Airmail shipments to China can take over 60 business days.
